Stop being so adult for a minute!!

Happy Monday!

This week I’d like to send you a reminder to be playful!
As we grow older and become more ‘serious’ in life, we forget that joy, happiness and play are just as important as they were when we were children. There is a child living within all of us that needs to be nurtured in many ways, including through play.

There is a time to be serious but we mustn’t forget to take the time to be silly and do things that make us giggle and maybe even pee yourself a bit with laughter!

As many of you know, I recently celebrated my birthday and in true childlike style, I gathered together a few friends ranging from 18 to 70 years old, to play games. You’d be surprised how everyone softens when their playful side is given space to come out.

This week Vinicius and I are going on a day date to AquaLand and I’m super excited about it! How very adult of us! Lol! The point is, we are growing young, old and everything in between together. We continue to nurture the children in us and do things that excite the child and make them giggle, laugh and allow them to be silly. We need to not be so adult all the time – being an adult can be tiring!!!

Laughter is so healthy and healing. There really is nothing that compares to a healthy bout of uncontrollable laughing to get you feeling good.

So, when was the last time you let yourself be playful? What did you do? How did you feel? Hit reply and let me know!
Love and blessings to you xx
