Are you in CONTROL?

You may or may not have noticed that last week I didn’t send out a newsletter. The only reason I point it out is because I want you to realise that it’s ok to say, ‘I’m giving myself a day or week off from something because I need to.’

This Saturday just gone my colleague and friend, Anthony and I held our first CONTROL workshop. This was our trial event for us to get approved by one of our mentors and friend, Tim Box, as official CONTROL System Workshop Trainers. 

The CONTROL System has very much changed the way I work with clients and opened me up to a whole new set of skills when I trained as a practitioner last year. CONTROL is a method of working with clients and ourselves where we establish direct lines of communication with our crew members that are running patterns of thought, feeling or behaviours that are outdated and need upgrading or improving. 

I love working with CONTROL because it’s so simple, it’s fun (which is one of my core values), it’s incredibly effective and it’s not at all invasive. 

The workshops are one day events where participants, both with a personal or professional interest in the method, learn the system, choose something they want to change, make then change and go away with a new set of skills to continue working with themselves. We had a great group of people on Saturday and all of them got the change they set their mind on by the end of the day.

For the moment I will be running the workshops online so watch this space for upcoming dates!!

The first and last rule of CONTROL is that you can only control yourself! The better you get to know yourself, the better you will be able to be in control!
