4 Simple phrases that have the power to make massive change in your life

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing a wonderful lady who is also a hypnotist and guide in the world of change work on the Hypnotic Healers podcast. During this conversation, I was reminded of 4 phrases that I came across many years ago as a package but this time I got more insight into why they are so powerful when used together.

The four phrases are:

I love you
I’m sorry
Forgive me
Thank you

Simple, yet deeply profound

The idea is to think of something that’s going on for you and give it a number on scale of 0-10 in terms of how much it’s bothering you.
Repeat out loud or in your head the 4 phrases over and over again. Maybe allow a smile to appear as you do this. Check in with the scale and see where you are at now.
Repeat this process as many times a day as you like and see the benefits start to show up in your life.

For those of you wishing for more insight into why this process is so powerful:

I love you – by saying this you are accepting yourself for who and what you are, unconditionally. You are also connecting to something greater and more powerful that just you – LOVE. This is very grounding and opening.
I’m sorry – taking responsibility for the programmes you are running in your life without feeling guilty for them. They are not your fault, but they are your responsibility to work with.
Forgive me – making peace with yourself and whatever and whoever else you connect with, again, without blame, guilt and shame.
Thank you – gratitude. In most if not all spiritual practices, gratitude is considered one of the most liberating and life changing practices.

As you can see, Acceptance, Responsibility, Forgiveness and Gratitude are the 4 pillars of spirituality no matter what you do or don’t believe in. When combining these 4 simple sentences and repeating them over and over again, we are engaging in simple practice that can literally change your life by changing how you view things, how you interact, how you respond, how you feel and how you think.

Let me know how you get on with this practice, I love hearing from you!

Love and blessings to you xx
